Job Title: Research Fellow
Duties and Responsibilities
· Coordinating staff efforts to contribute to Research goals and targets interests
· Coordinating the Uganda Development policy management forum activities
· Designing and executing research projects and publishing results through international peer review process
· Liaising with the teaching department to ensure that research products are integrated in the teaching of the students of the institute
· Organizing Public Debates , symposia and other events on developing issues aimed at sharing knowledge
· Keep track of knowledge generated projects and advising the department on the pot entail for research and publications
· Ensuring that post graduate and Research students have the appropriate opportunities and support to under take and publish their research
· Supervising students undertaking post graduate Degree studies at Uganda Management Institute
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· A PhD in social /Management science related subjects
· 3 years of research teaching experience at post graduate Level
· Evidence of supervision of post graduate degree students will be an added advantage
