Reporting to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operations of the company.
- Ensure smooth operation of various processes that contribute to the production of goods and services of the company.
- Logistics management ensuring that the machinery and equipment used have the ability to produce goods and services for the client at an acceptable standard.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance personnel to ensure that the goods meet an acceptable standard and generates positive feedback from clients.
- Follow up on fire fighting training for all staff especially on how to use fire extinguishers.
- Ensure first aid equipments are available at the all designated business areas on the site.
- Ensure that site maintenance is supervised and all necessary actions implemented.
- In charge of ensuring company’s vehicle maintenance.
- Interact with employees, prepare reports on the current condition of logistics and decide on the next course of action.
- Ability to formulate suggestions on how to make an optimum use of the resources of the organization e.g enterprise resource planning and supply chain management.
- Ability to manage third party relations such as security, administrative assistants and office conveyance.
- Ensure that the standard procedure are followed when third parties are hired.
- Ensure that the necessary administrative and legal formalities are completed and the third parties properly executes the agreed terms and conditions.
- Plan, organize lead and control the production and delivery of products and services as needed to keep external paying customers satisfied.
- Other duties to be handed over by the administrator Ms. Harriet Nangoola on first day of report.
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business Management
- At least 5 years experience in operations management; advantage if in similar environment
- Working in multi ethnic environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Should be between 30- 40 years
