Job Title: Mechanic
Our Client is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancy;
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the watch of the Engine, and to assure the power distribution on the rig.
· Maintain the order, cleanliness and house keeping in the engine spaces all the time.
· Clean and paint mechanical material and equipment.
· Responsible for the weekly work procedure.
· Participate in the maintenance of all machinery; engines, pumps, compressors, air conditioning, etc. following the check list given by the Chief Mechanic.
· Participate at the preventive maintenance of the engines.
· Must report to his line supervisor for any abnormal situation.
· Perform any jobs requested by his line Supervisor as long as the job is within his competence.
Qualifications:
· Technical degree.
· Literate & numerate.
· PC literate in Microsoft Office.
· Fluent written & spoken English.
· Junior Mechanic CAP program completed.
· Minimum 3 years relevant experience in an oil-field service environment with a minimum 1 year as a junior mechanic or equivalent position.
Skills/Knowledge:
· Excellent verbal, written & communication skills.
· Effective people management skills.
· Credibility with staff & management.
