Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement Marketing Strategy including Public Relations and Advertising.
- Plan and implement sales, customer retention and Business Development strategies.
- Plan and Manage sales and Marketing resources according to agreed budgets.
- Recruit, manage train and motivate direct reporting staff according to Contact Graphics procedures, Policy and Ugandan Employment Law.
- Maintain Administration and relevant reporting and planning systems.
- Manage relevant reporting of Management and Financial information for the sales and Marketing department
- Maintain and Develop Corporate Image and reputation.
- Protect and Develop Contact Graphics brand via the suitable PR activities.
- Plan and Manage Internal communications and awareness of Corporate Direction, mission, aims and activities.
- Plan, carry out or support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities like product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- Higher qualification in the Marketing, Management with at least 3 years experience in a senior management position. There will be an added advantage of a candidate who has worked in advertising industry.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration
- Membership and subscription to the global authorities in respective disciplines is an added advantage.
- Excellent writer of business letters, quotations and propels.
- Computer competencies of MS Office packages including: Word, Excel, Power point, Access and Desktop publisher
- Excellent Interpersonal skills both face to face and telephone
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a team to achieve a desired goal.
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Strong Analytical skills and ability to decipher financial information in relation to strategic business objectives.
- Excellent presentation skills, mature, credible and business like
- Self starter, self motivated, results-oriented and forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
