Welthungerhilfe is one of the largest German Non-Governmental Organisations in the field of Development and Emergency Assistance. Projects in Uganda are in Lira, Kabarole and Karamoja regions. The Regional Office of the Great Lakes Region in Kampala also supports projects in Rwanda and Burundi.
Welthungerhilfe has two vacant positions in Uganda to be filled in with suitable candidates.
Reports to: Regional Director Duty station: Kampala Regional Office.
Scope: Be Assistant to The Regional Director for Programme Development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Liaise with Field Project Managers.
· Assist in monitoring project implementation.
· Guiding and supervision of project partners.
Qualifications
· Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
· Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) is obligatory.
· A minimum of 2 years profound experience in FFS and JFFLS approach.
· INGO project management experience.
· Proficient with major computer programmes.
