Purpose of the Job: To participate in design and development of Training Modules for defined Trades or Vocational/ Technical disciplines.


Qualifications and Work Experience
·         An Honours degree in Engineering/Technology or any other technical /vocational field.
·         Post graduate Diploma in any relevant vocational / technical discipline with a bias in vocational training pedagogy or Competence Based Education and Training (CBET) from a recognized Institution.
·         5 years work experience, 3 of which must have been at Officer / Senior Instructor level in a recognized technical / vocational education and training institution OR research or curriculum development or recognized institution involved in related work
·         Experience of organizing training workshops is an added advantage.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
·         Organize Training Module Facilitators’ training.
·         Organize Training Module Development workshops.
·         Organize validation workshops to update Training Modules.
·         Participate in Section’s costed
·         Work plan development.
·         Prepare and submit Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports and submits to PQO.
·         Supervise and appraise qualification officer.
·         Any other duties as may be assigned by the relevant authority.
