Organisation: National Women’s Council in Uganda
Main Duties:
· Develop and Manage training programmes for women’s councils
· Provide technical support and guidance to District Women’s Council
· Develop and establish guidelines for research, planning and data management
· Prepare guidelines and proposals for the implementation of council programmes
Qualifications:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Agricultural sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration and management or a related field from a recognized university
· At least two years of relevant working experience especially with programmes/ projects
Required Competencies:
· Planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation
· Ability to recognize the social, political, economic, familial and cultural contexts that affect women’s lives
· Documentation and report writing
