The position reports to the senior manager – infrastructure and service management
The Main Purpose of the Job is: To develop and manage all system operations for the Group information Technology (IT) and ensure that adequate capacity, system availability and excellent user support is provided.
Prime Duties & Responsibilities of the position:
- Deliver and manage the technology infrastructure for all production environments
- Ensure that the infrastructure solutions and environment are maintained
- Ensure the effective project management of infrastructure environments
- Support the recruitment of key talent for staff appointments where required
Qualifications
The applicant must possess the following:
- Bachelors Degree in an IT related field
- 5 years experience: A minimum of 3 years in an infrastructure environment with 2 years supervisory/ management experience
- Training in GSM, IT Security, ITIL, business continuity, business risk management
