Duties & Responsibilities:
- To handle HR staff queries for national staff and prompt responses to the same through the appreciation of staff needs and ability to propose HR solutions
- Manage employee relations through the sensitization of issues such as medical insurance providers, labour law legislation, interpretation of the HR policies and procedures and guiding staff on diversity and equal opportunity issues
- Monitor the working conditions of field based staff and other support with regards to any employee relations issues
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or above in Human Resources
- Affiliation to HR professional bodies such as HRMAU or CIPD will be an added advantage
- At least 2 years related working experience
Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of general HR employee relations, labour Laws and the Employment Act of Uganda
- Clear understanding of oil & gas exploration and production operations in Uganda
