Its scientific departments focus on tuberculosis, HIV, lung health and non-communicable diseases, tobacco control and research. Vacancies: The Union has potentially three positions to fill to support a five-year USAID/Uganda National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Program (NTLP) in Uganda. The project is expected to be launched in January 2013. Please note that recruitment will depend on The Union’s successful application for funding from USAID/Uganda.
Finance Specialist
The Finance Specialist shall have the following qualifications, skills and experience, necessary to support the meeting of the stated program objectives:
· Master’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other relevant field;
· Eight years’ experience in administrative and financial management of large international projects including experience in management of USG projects;
· Familiarity with compliance to Federal Acquisition Regulations;
· Demonstrated experience and skills in developing and managing large budgets;
· Proficient in relevant computer applications and databases;
· Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills;
