FINCA Uganda currently offers loans, savings and money transfer services in Uganda, one of the most competitive and dynamic microfinance markets in the world.
FINCA Uganda is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self motivated, result oriented professional to fill the position below.
Brief Description of the role: To manage the growth and performance of the branch Loans Portfolio, develop, execute plans and implement strategies set by the institution.
Key Result Areas:
· Supervise and mentor individual lending staff.
· Assess, review and approve loans per policy.
· Ensure loans officers meet client targets.
· Maintain a quality portfolio for the branch as per set targets.
· Custodian of loan securities and ensure the loan officers maintain proper loan documentation.
· Analyze, compile and submit reports as per reporting standards.
Ideal Profile
· Degree in Business Studies and humanities
· At least 2 years credit work experience in a reputable micro finance institution or commercial bank.
· Knowledge of credit underwriting process.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams.
· PAR of less than 3% above one day for at least 3 months by close of July 2012
· Annual Performance Evaluation results of 70% and above (As at June 2012)
· Excellent management and leadership skills.
· You should have not been on SAS for the last 6 months.
