Location: Uganda
Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited is part of Mehta Group of Companies and one of the leading producers of mill white Sugar in the Country. It’s located at 45kms on Kampala – Jinja Highway, just within the vicinity of Lugazi Town Council – Buikwe District.
We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the following position.
Qualification:
·         Diploma in Agriculture/ Mechanical Engineering.
·         A valid driving permit with “A” class for Motorcycle,
·         Must be in possession of computer skills in Microsoft office.
Experience: 5 years and above in transport operations in any reputable agricultural industry.
Age Limit: 25-35 years
Key Responsibilities:
·         Inspection of harvested sugarcane fields
·         Monitoring transportation of sugarcane, motor vehicle allotment and deployment of drivers.
·         Make follow ups of motor vehicles sent to workshops for maintenance
·         Must be willing to travel extensively by riding a motorcycle and ready to report on duty during weekends/public holidays
