AIRD is a non-governmental, non-political, non religious and nonprofit making humanitarian organization with the main objective of promoting protection and seeking durable solutions for Refugees & IDPs in Africa in partnership with key stakeholders as well as build capacity while focusing on health, education, agriculture, water, sanitation, income generation, transport/logistics & basic infrastructures. AIRD/UNHCR Project seeks to recruit a person with integrity, dedication and commitment for the vacant positions below for its emergency program in the South Western Region.

Qualifications
· Must have a degree or diploma in store management, procurement or its equivalent from a well reputable institution
Have atleast 2 years of working experience in the same field
Must be a Ugandan national

Duties and Responsibilities
· All locally procured items delivered to the warehouse must be accompanied by a UNHCR order letter to the supplier.
· Make sure supplier submit a delivery note along with the items and these must be clearly marked and properly packaged as per requirements.
· Ensure the receipt of the items into the warehouse, a Goods Receipt Note must be written out with key information such as the PO#, Project # Items received and the quantities, among others and issued to the supplier.
· Make sure the Bin and Stock card are immediately opened for the received items with the necessary information on them.
· Make sure received items are properly placed onto pallets and arranged in the warehouse in an easily accessible order.
· Ensure all unclear circumstances that may arise during the receipt of items must be clarified and ironed out with the UNHCR logistics and office the Prime Minister (OPM) before commitment is made to receive the items.
· Dispatch of Items from the Warehouse;
· Ensure all dispatches from the warehouse must be done so with the authorization from the UNHCR Logistics section.
· Ensure that the release of items from the warehouse, confirmation of their existence and that the information on the AFI is correct must be carried.
· Ensure a Goods Issue Voucher is written out to accompany the items taken and the relevant Bin and Stock cards updated immediately.
· Make sure a cross check on the balance of items from the issued stock must be made before the client is allowed to depart.
