The New Vision Printing and Publishing Company Ltd is looking to recruit a dynamic, self motivated individual to fill the role of Machine Operator – Mailroom Equipment

Reports to: Mail Room Supervisor
Description of Purpose: To effectively and efficiently operate and maintain the mailroom
equipment in order to achieve daily targets and deadlines

Key Result Areas
·         Servicing and maintenance of the Mailroom equipment to ensure that its always in a good running condition
·         Operating/running of the mail room equipment according to daily work schedules
·         Report major machine faults to Engineering in order to maintain equipment in good running condition.
·         Accountability for all printed materials as per the print order guidelines.
·         In liaison with the printing team, ensure quality control at the mailroom stage as per market standards

Qualifications and Experience
·         Certificate or Diploma in mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
·         Ability to interpret, analyze and report on technical processes
·         Able to work under minimal supervision and willing to work long hours and night shifts
·         Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work under strict deadlines
