IT Jobs in Uganda at SESEMAT Programme – ICT Administrator

Position: ICT Administrator  
The SESEMAT Programme under the Ministry of Education and Sports is seeking for applications to fill a full-time post of ICT Administrator.
Roles and Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the National Trainers shall be:
·         Development of ICT manuals/modules.
·         Recommend all procurement needs.
·         Maintain all the software and hardware.
·         Prepare and present ICT plan and budget.
·         Work in collaboration with National Trainers to design INSET training content.
·         Carry out other ICT tasks as required by the SESEMAT Programme.
·         Management of the ICT lab.
Qualifications
·         A degree in Computer Science.
·         Hardware and software maintenance skills.
·         Basic programming skills.
·         Post-graduate degree is an added advantage.
·         Leadership and communication skills.
·         At least three (3) years experience in the field of ICT.
·         Background of any three of the science subjects (Physics, Biology, Chemistry and mathematics) at A-level or a higher level is an added advantage.
Term of Contract: Three (3) years renewable on commendable performance.
Salary and Allowances: Salary and other fringe allowances are attractive.
