Our Client Total E&P Uganda is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancy;
Main Job Responsibilities:
· To identify and enhance local economic development projects that may be developed in line with Company’s strategy and foster partnerships with local stakeholders, implementing partners and authorities.
· He / she will be required to analyse and follow-up on the local socio-economic fabrics in the Lake Albert area and ensure that all CSR activities and projects are archived properly and registered into the Company’s monitoring database
Qualifications and Experience:
· University Degree or equivalent in Political sciences, Economics, rural development, agronomy or sociology.
· At least 4 years experience in community development projects, or in other similar areas (NGOs, donors, state development funds, etc).
· Ability to maintain good relations with a wide range of local stakeholders, NGOs, donors, local authorities, local communities.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
· Flexibility and capacity to work on the site.
· Excellent organizational skills
