The LCLC is the organisational hub at the heart of Ligingi village’s journey to create self-directed, positive pathways of transformation. It was founded by the Ligingi community in May 2011 to facilitate community education, learning and positive action for change. The LCLC is managed by the Local Management Committee and supported by an international team of volunteers based in the city of Melbourne, Australia.
The vision of the LCLC is of a self-sustaining, vibrant, globally-interconnected Ligingi village community by 2040.
The mission is to empower the women, men and children of Ligingi village to pursue their own creative pathways of change and sustainability though collective learning for improved quality of life.
The LCLC is seeking a Climate Change Adaptation Volunteer Facilitator to conduct a community process in Ligingi village for three months. For more information please download the attached document.
