Job Title: Service and Logistics Coordinator
Our client dealing in energy products is seeking a motivated, creative and experienced person to provide logistical support for the Fenix suite of renewable energy products. This person will work directly with the East Africa Regional Business Development & Sales Manager to help, provide logistical support to the Fenix team as well as the clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage inventory of products, accessories & spare parts
· Manage clearing and warehousing for imported goods
· Develop Fenix’s after-sales service processes in Uganda
· Manage after-sales service systems
· Hire and manage a team of technicians
· Manage storage, transport and purchasing for accessories and future products sold by Fenix in Uganda
Competencies Required:
· Comprehensive fluency in English
· Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to work well with a team
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
· Familiar with setting up warehouse systems
Qualifications:
· Degree in Procurement, Professional Diploma (CIPS) or equivalent professional experience.
· Leadership experience
· Ability to manage inventory of products and spare parts
· Ability and drive to work independently
· Experience managing inventory and/or after-sales services
· Understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry in East Africa
· 3-5 years work experience in Telecom, FMCG or Manufacturing sectors
