Spedag Interfreight, a leading clearing, forwarding and freight logistics company seeks to recruit a highly skilled, dynamic and self motivated individual to fill the position of a Security Officer.
Reports to: Head Security at Kampala

Job Purpose:
• Implement and maintain an effective security system for both staff and company property
• Professionally manage company access control with restrictions and defined boundaries for staff and non-staff
• Initiate effective security measures that would be beneficial to-both staff and clients
• A link between management, staff and clients on security concerns
• Liaise with the contracted security service provider daily while executing their duties
• Make regular security reports as may be required from time to time
• Any other assigned duties by the supervisors

Required Qualifications:
• A University Degree or Diploma
• Excellent knowledge of private security procedures
• A certificate in guards training courses
• Must be computer literate with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Police Clearance form/Letter of good conduct
• At least 5 years experience in security field in a reputable private firm
