Security Officer
Job Purpose: Candidate will be accountable for the comprehensive management of site security and compliance with DHL Security Guidelines. Includes the planning and management of security guards; incident reporting; visitor management; recordkeeping and protection of all DHL property, assets and employees. Will be involved in security audits; risk assessments and investigations and actively participate in monitoring of stock during transit.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· At least 5 years experience in the management of security in a production or transport environment
· Computer literate and able to use MS Office
· Excellent negotiation skills
· Proven ability to conduct investigations, keep records and liaise with external stakeholders including government officials
· Certificate of good conduct from police
· Must be well versed with traffic regulations of Uganda and Kenya
