Applications are invited for the post of Pilots existing in the Air wing Division of Desert Locust Control Organization for Eastern Africa (DLCO-EA), a Regional Organization which specializes in Agricultural Aviation.

Applicants must:

·         Be nationals of contracting Governments of the Organization viz: Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
·         Be willing to work anywhere within the Region.
·         Have the ability to work in harmony with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
·         Be fluent in English language.
·         Knowledge of French language will be an added advantage.
·         The Pilots will be responsible to the Chief Pilot.
·         Duties include pest control operations, and other general aviation activities.
Salary and Benefits For The Posts:

Pilot: DLCO-EA
Salary Scale R4B (US$ 17,787-US 19,146 p.a.)

Entry point is negotiable for qualified candidates.
Other benefits are as per Organization’s Service Regulations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         Valid CPL or ICAO recognized Licenses with twin engine rating.
2000 hours command plus instrument rating with minimum 500 hours tail wheel experience.
·         Preference shall be given to candidates with Instrument Rating and crop spraying experience
·         Diploma or University level in Sciences is an added advantage.
·         Optimum age 30 – 50 yrs.
