Marketing Manager
Stationed in Kampala (but with frequent travels throughout the country) and reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating a market environment that will eventually result into moving sales volumes of the whole product portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct market research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities for existing and future/ potential products.
· Analyse current market trends and competitor information and identify/develop proactive and reactive tactics to assist the company move forward.
· Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
· Plan and develop marketing communications strategies and materials in consultation with approved advertising agencies.
· Develop new clients/accounts and coordinate the management of all existing clients.
· Determine and manage the marketing budget based on key priorities.
· Develop pricing strategies, balancing the company objectives and customer satisfaction
· Monitor the trends that indicate the need for new products and services.
· Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results.
· Formulate systems, processes and reports in consultation with other stakeholders to monitor and drive marketing efforts across the business.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· Degree in Marketing, BBA and other related disciplines from a recognized University/Institution.
· A post graduate qualification with a bias in marketing or marketing professional qualification such as C.I.M is a must
· Experience of not less than seven (7) years in fast moving consumer.
· Computer literacy is a must and knowledge of Ebizframe ERP will be an added advantage.
