Position: Finance Assistant
Location: Kampala
Reports to: Finance Director
Purpose of the position: To support the coordination of divisional documentation, logistics, work plans and reporting.
Key Result Areas
· Coordinate the development of divisional quarterly work plans and prepare divisional monthly reports
· Provide logistical support to the staff when planning conferences and workshops both at local and International levels.
· Analyze and coordinate logistical requirements for the Division and on a regular basis for supply and equipment orders.
· Maintaining supplies/logistics inventory and preparing requisitions for office supplies and equipments
· Managing the filling system and Divisional library and record control of key documents in the division which include divisional reports and work plans etc.
· Coordinating travel plans within and out of the country for the staff in the Division and
· Providing weekly schedules for the Finance Team.
· Provide information and advise to staff on administrative processes, procedures and requirements
· Maintain the divisional directors diary and fixing appointments
· Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Must possess a Bachelor of Commerce Degree/ or Business Administration (Finance or Accounting option).
· Must have basic knowledge in computer applications like MS Office and data base management
· Knowledge in logistical operations
· Effective communication skills.
· Abilities in office administration and organization.
· Should be accurate and organized at work.
· Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities
