ACORD is a pan African Non- Governmental organization working for social justice and long term development in 17 countries in Africa. In Uganda, ACORD has its activities in more than 10 districts.
For its country office in Kampala, ACORD wishes to employ dynamic, self-driven and experienced Administration Assistant.
Responsible to: Human Resource & Administration Officer
The main areas of responsibility include:
o To provide secretarial and administrative support services to all staff at the Country Office;
o Managing the front office/ reception;
o Managing office imprest and the relevant records;
o Office communication & Maintenance of office equipment.
Job requirements:
o A Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or Secretarial Studies, Development Studies, Human Resources Management;
o At least 2 years experience with an NGO;
o Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Access and Power Point;
o Should have a sense of responsibility and time management.
