Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Reports to: Chief Accountant
Main
Duties
Duties
- Keep proper books of
accounts inline with the organization’s financial policies procedures and
guidelines - Review payment and
payment vouchers before cheques are prepared forwarded to chief
accountant - Monitor primary
implementation of Capital radio’s internal controls to ensure adequate risk
management - Deal with Tax
authorities and regulatory bodies on matters of statutory compliance including
advise management on tax related issues - Check fixed assets
register to ensure proper custody of call company assets and involves in
physical verifications exercise - Ensure that all
financial transactions are processed with appropriate documentation and
approvals - Review
accountabilities for operational advances and recommend action to the chief
accountant - Ensure the staff
record are regularly updated and well maintained - Performs any other
related issues assigned by senior Management
Qualification
and experience

- Education B.com
Accounting or BBA Accounting from a recognized university or a higher learning
institution i.e ACCA,CPA,CIMA - Experience at least 2
years of working experience in a commercially oriented environment - Must be a team player
with excellent communication organization and interpersonal skills - Should be 25-30 years
of age
