Kisubi Brothers University College (KBUC) is a Constituent College of Uganda Martyrs University, located 24
kilometres on Kampala-Entebbe road. Founded in 2004, KBUC is owned by the
Ugandan Province of the Brothers of Christian Instruction. It is an institution
of higher learning that strives to instil in its learners such knowledge,
skills and attitudes as are necessary for their holistic development as well as
the transformation of communities. KBUC is an equal opportunity employer that

Administrative Secretaries (04 Posts)

Reporting to: The
Relevant Head of Department

Eligible candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Studies

  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Database management

  • Additional qualification or training in any of the following will be of added
    Records Keeping and Information
    Management, Office Management, Information Communication Technology and
    Business Administration and Management.

  •  At least two (2) years’ experience in a
    similar position
Eligible candidates should possess the following qualities:

  •  Excellent people and organisational

  •  Proficiency in both written and spoken

  •  Excellent communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will carry out the following duties and functions:

  • Provide secretarial services to relevant officers of the University College

  •  Handle and process information
    pertaining to the relevant offices of the University College

  •  Prepare the necessary documents for the
    relevant officers of the University College

  •  Record and disseminate meeting minutes
    from the relevant offices

  •  Prepare reports on the activities of the
    relevant offices

  •  Any other duties as may be assigned by
    relevant authorities
