Accountant – Green Shops

Our Client Green Shops is a
limited liability company in Uganda dealing in a variety of good quality
clothing and shoes, is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the
above vacancy;
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement the
    company’s strategy and targets in accordance with own competencies and
    coordination by shareholder.
  • Initiate, coordinate
    and monitor the company’s budgeting and control of budget execution.
  • Coordinate, monitor
    and analyse the company’s financial and administrative management
    solutions, ensure their economic and legal feasibility, agreement with
    interests of the company, follow up results with budget.
  • Control and analyse
    the financial and administrative activities of the company, their
    effectiveness and relevance to the company’s needs, report about detected
    discrepancies and problems, and provide suggestions for improvement. 
  • Prepare financial and
    administrative reports.
  • Travel throughout
    Uganda and abroad in order to fulfil the duties of employment.
  • Diploma in Accounting
    or a Bachelors in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years of
    accounting experience
  • Good understanding of
    the legal instruments governing the company’s finance and accounting
    activities, public procurement, administrative, import, export, legal
    issues and human resources
  • General management
  • Ability to communicate
    correctly orally and in writing in public official language;
  • A good foreign
    language (English) knowledge;
  • IT literacy (MS Office
    & MS Excel
  • Very good
    communication skills and abilities
  • Ability to balance
    tense situations
  • 10.  High level
    of self-motivation, precision and commitment to results
  • 11.  Honest, hard
    worker, helpful and result orientated personality.
