Regional Administrative Manager – AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF)

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF)
is an international not for profit NGO, registered in Uganda as AHF-Uganda
Cares. The organization offers HIV services including; prevention, impact
mitigation, treatment and care services in collaboration with the Government of
Uganda and other stake holders.
AHF -Uganda Cares is seeking for dynamic, community health focused and
self motivated individuals with relevant experience to fill in the following
vacant position.
Job Title: Regional Administrative Manager Location:
Masaka Health Care Centre
Reporting to: Country Program Director.
Purpose: To provide effective leadership and administrative
support as required for excellent delivery of planned health programs and
implementation of AHF policies in Masaka and Rakai area.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Offers’ Administrative
    and HR Support to staff and partners in adherence to all AHF policies,
    standards and procedures.
  • Lead the development
    of annual work plans and budgets in liaison with facility in-charge staff
    and project managers, monitor and support the implementation of the work
    plans.
  • Manage communication
    with stakeholders and partners in consultation with management and
    represent AHF- Uganda Cares at various partnership and administrative fora
    in the region.
  • Monitor and timely
    respond to logistical support/needs, repairs and servicing of equipment
    and systems through review of provider recommendations, various reports
    and budgets.
  • Manage organization
    assets through maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and participate in
    mid-year/annual stock counts & spot checks.
  • Any other duty as
    assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualification/Education/Work experience
  • Minimum of a
    Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Administration, Social Sciences
    or Public Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration from a
    recognized college or university
  • 7-10 years experience
    in a field directly related to operational duties including human
    resource resource management and capacity building, supplies and
    procurement management.
  • Experience in leadership
    and operations role, plus finance monitoring is a MUST.
  • Experience working in
    healthcare delivery systems/NGO involved in HIV/AIDS work, and familiarity
    with donor funded projects plus possession of MBA degree will be an added
    advantage.
